First choose your keywords carefully, just as we did with the site. Generally less than 20,000 competing pages is a good starting point. Make sure the content is unique. If you are using someone else’s content or similar article be sure to rewrite it. If you submit the same content you won’t get the full benefit from it.

Write content that useful and valuable to the reader

Search engines change the algorithms or the way they rank content all the time. Write for people not the search engines. People read and click again and again through your site. not the search engines.

There are some sites you can submit your articles to help with getting backlinks and search engine authority.

EzineArticles.com is the number one spot on this list. Here are some others that are worth giving a shot. Sign up to maybe five.

GoArticles.com

ArticleDashboard.com,

SearchWarp.com

ArticlesBase.com

iSnare.com

SelfGrowth.com

Buzzle.com

ArticleCity.com

And a few more to consider:

IdeaMarketers.com ArticleAlley.com, Web-Source.net, SelfSEO.com, Amazines.com, ArticleTrader.com, SearchGuild.com, WebWorldIndex.com ArticleSphere.com, BusinessKnowHow.com, PromotionWorld.com ,ArticlesFactory.com, ExcellentGuide.com, ContentDesk.com, ArticleCube.com and ArticleBiz.com

Creating an Article

Creating an article consists of three main parts, The Title, The Body and The Signature

Quick article creation: Go to any article site and search for your keyword term. Read through related articles and write down a few key points from each. Incorporate those points into a unique article in your own words that you can submit. (TIP: Quickly rewrite it again and use it as web content for your blog.

The Title

This is the headline of your article. It needs to grab the reader’s attention and draw them in to read it. Creating effective titles, first make sure the main keyword appears at least once. Like our previous example “real estate” If possible add a second keyword like ‘oceanfront”. You will want to list a clear benefit to the reader(Why should I read this?) Use numbers and be specific,” Exclusive pictures of the Top Five Luxury Oceanfront properties on Bald Head Island,NC” captures a number of keywords.

The Body

Creating the body: The first paragraph should reinforce what the title claims. It should also contain the keyword as close to the beginning as is possible (but still sounding natural) Keep keyword density below 3% (some directories will consider anything above to be spamming) Try and give great content, but don’t give away everything just yet.

The Signature

Creating the signature: This is where you get to advertise your site in a short 2-3 sentence “Bio-Box”. Just like the title, it should make the reader WANT to click to find out more. “Discover the secrets of [keyword] with this amazing free [keyword] report. Click to download now at: https://www.collinsbrowne.com/keyword free report

Signature tips: Always use the full URL with the http:// format as most sites will make that a live link to your site. Always create an anchor text link with one of your keywords in the signature box. NEVER use a period (.) at the end of your URL as this can cause an error in the link so that anyone that clicks through gets an error page.

Avoiding Duplicate Article Content

Submitting the exact same article to multiple sites can cause some of the submissions to be ignored by Google. But writing a unique article for 40-50 sites takes time! Solution? “Spinning”

Spinning

This process involves writing a few variations of each paragraph of just one article and then creating unique versions by randomly selecting variations. e.g. An article with 5 paragraphs is rewritten 3 times. This gives 125 (5*5*5 ) possible variations of the same article = almost NO chance of duplicate penalty! You might try http://www.spinnerfree.com/ is a free article spinner software. There are many options for this. Some are better than others depending on your style. Try a few until you find what is best. The old saying you get what you pay for may be true here also. Normally you will want to correct any article that is spun.I find the spinning sometimes makes very little sense once done and requires quite a bit of correction.

Article Marketing is the Backbone of Blogging There are several steps to maximize the traffic potential from your articles. Article marketing or blog marketing is of course the lifeblood of bloggers, it had better be good.
