I Use Recommendations To Increase My Bottom Line
I found one of the best ways of increasing affiliate marketing bottom line and online income is recommending something good. What has worked well is recommending a top digital guru’s product which also gives me the benefit of those that trust him now trust me. If the customers or visitors trust them enough, then they will definitely trust my recommendations.
Think how many times you read the comments to see what others thought.
Not Too Many
Be very careful in using this approach, though. If you start promoting everything and everybody by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. I find I have to guard against recommendations that are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit.
I am not afraid to mention things that I don’t like about a given service. Rather than losing any points for me,most people appreciated the honest opinion rather than some “Fluff”. We all have bought too much junk that was “the next big thing”.
When your visitors are really interested in what you are offering, they will be more than delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good, and how the product will benefit them. The big one I always want to know is, what problem does it solve for me, how does it help me?
Know the product
When I am recommending somebody or their products, there are some things to remember on how to make it work effectively for me. I know the product. I never review something I have never used. My readers want a real opinion not some hype. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it takes to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy it is one big mistake..
Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined to making that purchase.
Stuff that Solves a Problem for Me
I like stuff that I use. Offering unique and new solutions they might have seen anywhere else is part of helping people get what they need. Show proof that what you or who are promoting works as promised.
Avoid hype at all costs.
Remember; prospects are not stupid, they are just like you looking for real, advice. They are actually turning to experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they would gladly put down hundreds, or even thousands worth of money to your promotions. If you don’t, they are smart enough to try to look at your competitors and see what they are offering.
Try Recommendations
Only do recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring it to would not be left high and dry when a problem suddenly arises. I am much happier with a product when support helps me when I am lost.
Have a look at your recommendations marketplace and look at the strategies they are using to promote the product. You may not be focusing on the strategies that you need to have. Your plan of action is sometimes often not the only thing that is making your recommendations work.
In internet marketing, there are many ways in which you can increase your earnings and maintain the trust that you have worked so hard for already.
